The Villa is adjacent to vineyards. It has three bedrooms on the ground floor (two with double bed, one with twin beds), bathroom with bath and shower, separate W.C., sitting room with wood-burning fireplace and sliding doors to the terrace and Mediterranean garden planted with lavender, citrus, olives, rosemary and thyme, with views over the neighbouring vineyards. The fully-equipped kitchen is all-electric (wall oven, vitroceramic cook top, large refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, CD player). The dining room has a table extending to seat six to eight and sliding doors opening to vine-shaded stone terrace and garden, with outdoor dining furniture. The villa has terrazzo tiled floors throughout and is furnished with an attractive mix of classic and modern pieces.
There is an upper floor which may be let with the house. This is a very large space, with a bedroom area (double bed) and sitting/study area (with divan), and private bathroom. The window overlooks the vineyards, with views to the Pyrenees. In addition, a large whitewashed atelier offers workspace for artists.
The two levels of the house offer four bedrooms and two bathrooms, to sleep up to ten and a baby (a cot and a small fold-out bed are available). The villa and garden flat can be rented together, sleeping 12.
The Villa has easy off-street parking.
The property is connected to the mains sewer so there is no problem with unpleasant septic tank odours in the garden which is so often the case with country properties.
Because the property is surrounded by vineyards and there are no farm animals in the area, we have no fly problem which can blight the holiday of the unsuspecting renter in some rural areas.
Unlike many village houses, this property is particularly child friendly with a spacious garden ideal for play, and it is fenced and gated to prevent escape.
